Internet Service Removing
Your Old Internet Provider From Your Computer These
instructions are provided for your convenience. If you are not sure,
please don't hesitate to contact our support department for help, at support@inetci.net,
or by calling 792-0006. The
first step is to remove the dial-up connection for your old
provider. The steps to do this vary depending upon which version of
Windows is installed on your computer.
For
Windows 95, 98, and 98 Second Edition

Double-Click
the My Computer icon on your desktop.

Double-Click
the Dial-Up Networking icon.
-
Right-Click
on the connection icon for your old provider, and on the menu that
appears, click Delete and then answer Yes when asked if
you really want to delete it.

Proceed
to the ALL Windows versions section below.
For
Windows ME (Millenium Edition)

Click on
the Start button, point to Settings, then click on Dial-Up
Networking.

In the
Window that opens, right-click on the connection icon for your old
provider, and on the menu that appears, click Delete and then
answer Yes when asked if you really want to delete it.

Proceed
to the ALL Windows versions section below.
For
Windows 2000
-
Click on
the Start button, point to Settings, then click on Network
and Dial-Up Connections.

In the
Window that opens, right-click on the connection icon for your old
provider, and on the menu that appears, click Delete and then
answer Yes when asked if you really want to delete it.

to the ALL Windows versions section below.
For
Windows XP
-
Click on
the Start button, click Control Panel, click Network
and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.

Right-Click
on the connection icon for your old provider, and on the menu that
appears, click Delete and then answer Yes when asked if
you really want to delete it.

Windows versions
The next thing to do is to remove the mail accounts for your old
provider from Outlook Express. To do that, open Outlook Express and
then follow these instructions:
- Click on the Tools
menu, then click on Accounts.
- In the Internet
Accounts window click on the Mail tab, and you will see
your old email account and your new iNetCi mail account.
- Click on your old
account to highlight it, and click the Remove button to the
right. Answer Yes if asked if you are sure.
- Close the Internet
Accounts window.
